1. How is Shilajit formed exactly?

Shilajit is a semi-solid, dark-coloured substance. Formation begins with plant matter being buried underground at very high altitudes. Microorganisms break down this plant material and it further mixes with mineral components in mountain rock. Over centuries this mixture is subject to extreme pressure, temperature changes, and the unique mountain environment. 

2. Isn’t Shilajit for men? Will it make me “masculine”? 

This is a common misconception.  

Shilajit has been traditionally used by both men and women for thousands of years.
