• Take some oil in a bowl and warm it. You can use the double-boiler method for it, or simply keep this bowl in another bowl of warm water. 
• Take about 3-4 pumps of oil in your palm and gently massage in on to your body 
• Use downward strokes on limbs, clockwise strokes on the belly. Follow the direction of muscles on the chest and the back. Massage for 3–5 minutes.  
• Ensure that the oil gets absorbed completely 
• Tavasma can be used in the evening just before bedtime, or after a shower or bath  
• The oil can be left on overnight for optimized results.  
• Make sure you do not rub the oil vigorously while massaging. Slow, circular motions must be used to apply the oil.
